Noun   Definition: Word that is used as a name of person, place, thing or an idea is known as noun. Examples: John  is a good  boy . (John and boy are nouns) The  rose  smells sweet. (rose) New Delhi  is a capital of  India. (New Delhi and India are nouns) John  fill parents with feelings of  love. (John and love) Note : Bold words are nouns because they are names.
