Article Definition:  The words that come before the noun known as an article. A, an and the are articles. Examples: She saw  the  doctor. Let’s go to  the  club. The dog is  a  useful animal. ADVERB AND TYPES OF ADVERB Adverb Definition:  Word which modifies the meaning of a verb, an adjective and another adverb known as adverb. The words quickly, very, quite are adverbs. PREPOSITION AND ITS TYPES Definition Preposition:  The word which shows the position of one thing with reference to other known as preposition. It is placed before after noun or pronoun. It Always governs a noun or pronoun as an object. Usually, prepositions are by, to, like, about, through, over, with, on, in, of, etc. Example: There is a goat  in  the field. She is fond  of  milkshake. John jumped  off  the chair. Note:  Given bold words are prepositions. Conjunction

Conjunction definition:  Word which merely joins together sentences, and sometimes words known as conjunction. Conjunction make sentences more compact. Example: Our hoard is little,  but  our hearts are great. She must weep,  or  she will die. Three  and  three make sir. Note:  Bold letters are conjunctions because they join sentences. In the first two examples conjunction join together two sentences in the last example conjunction joins together two words. Types of Conjunction 1. ADJECTIVES AND ITS TYPES Definition:  A word that is used to describe or qualify or modify or add to the meaning of a noun or pronoun is known as an adjective. Example: There are  three, small, black, wooden  chairs in a room. A  big, red, dump  truck hit a  parked, little, red  car. I saw a  tall, handsome, ethical  boy in  blue jeans . Note : Bold letters are adjectives because in the first example three adjectives are used for noun chair in the second example three adjectives used for car and truck and in the last four adjectives describe boy. Noun   Definition: Word that is used as a name of person, place, thing or an idea is known as noun. Examples: John  is a good  boy . (John and boy are nouns) The  rose  smells sweet. (rose) New Delhi  is a capital of  India. (New Delhi and India are nouns) John  fill parents with feelings of  love. (John and love) Note : Bold words are nouns because they are names. TYPES OF NOUN : There are several types of noun. 1.Common Noun:   Name given in common to every person, refer to general things, unspecific categories, refer to both male and female.
